AFS client & Kerberos installation

AFS for 32 bit Windows7:

• Login Windows as an administrator.  Download OpenAFS from http://www.openafs.org Choose the OpenAFSforWindows-version.exe and install it. 

AFS for 64 bit Windows7:

• Login Windows as an administrator.  download  "64-bit MSI installer" openafs-en_US-64bit-vision.msi and install it..
• (If the above does not work after the kerberos installation,  then redo AFS: Download OpenAFS from http://www.openafs.org Choose the OpenAFSforWindows-version.exe and install it.  Then download  "64-bit MSI installer" openafs-en_US-64bit-vision.msi and install it.)

AFS For Mac:

• Download and install the "MacOS Universal package" OpenAFS-version.dmg from http://www.openafs.org 
• for newer Mac OSX, http://www.openafs.org/pages/macos.html

Kerberos Config File for Mac:

• email to action@cs.stanford.edu ask for krb5.conf.

Kerberos for 32 bit Windows7:

• Download and install this file: http://www.mit.edu/kerberos/dist/kfw/3.2/kfw-3.2.2/kfw-3-2-2.msi

OR

• Download "32-bit EXE" kfw-i386-vision.exe from http://www.secure-endpoints.com/#kfw and install it. 

Kerberos for 64 bit Windows7:

• From http://www.secure-endpoints.com/#kfs, download and install "32-bit MSI"  kfw-i386-vision.msi as well as the "64-bit MSI" kfw-amd64-vistion.msi. Yes, need to install these two versions.
