Overview

The CS Department participates in the joint CS MS/MBA, CS MS/Law, and CS PhD/Law programs. For the joint CS MS/Law degree, admission to the joint MS degree programs requires an submitted application and acceptance for admission by the Department of Computer Science and the Stanford Law School. For the joint CS MS/MBA degree, admission to the joint MS degree programs requires an submitted application and acceptance for admission by the Department of Computer Science and the Graduate School of Business.

CS MS/MBA

Joint MS/MBA degree students will have interests in technology and leadership with a desire to become managers or entrepreneurs in technologically-inclined businesses.

Students may elect to begin their course in either the Law School or the CS Department and must secure permission from both schools to pursue degrees in those units as part of a joint degree program.

Students interested in the joint degree program must apply and gain entrance to the School of Law and to the PhD program in CS with permission from both schools to pursue the joint degree program.
